Amazing. Great location, great view, great decoration. Olivier, the owner, was very kind and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as great as it could be. Romantik Villa feels like a slice of paradise and our own little cosy corner, I can't recommend it enough. I hope we can visit again soon.

Such a wonderful stay at the Romantik Villa in Salema Portugal with super host and owner Olivier. We booked direct with Olivier by emailing a few months before. He was immediately responsive and replied within a few hours of our inquiry. The 2nd floor suite we had was beautifully appointed with comfortable chairs, sofa, and a really nice bed. Beautiful sea views from our balcony and nice windows, patio door and screens. Everything is in very good condition, like new, and the room smelled good, not perfumed but clean and good. Many welcoming touches including fresh flowers, a nice bottle of red wine and lots of good info on the town, beaches and restaurants. Perfect place to slow down, relax, and enjoy the beautiful ocean view and pool in peace and quiet. Don’t miss the honor bar by the pool, cold beer and drinks! We especially appreciated that Olivier our host was onsite, very helpful and available if needed. So wonderful that he personally delivers fresh baked goods (still warm) for breakfast every day, with a kind smile and a check-in. Also appreciate that the villa is being operated with good environmental ethics, solar electric, solar hot water, salt water pool etc. Enjoyed waking up to birds singing in the mornings and fresh coffee and breakfast on the sunny balcony over the pool, gazing at the sea. Great hiking in the area too. Check out the short hike and beautiful beach at Boca do Rio, easy 1 hour hike with great views of the coast in both directions. Will return!
This place is absolutely perfect and can't wait to come back. Everyone is attentive and I loved the attention the detail - it made our stay special. Everything is modern but cozy at the same time and it felt like home.
Great Service! Unfortunately we had to cancel our booking at this great accomodation due to the corona pandemic. As a gesture of goodwill we've recieved a full refund. Thanks a lot and looking forward to visist you some day!
