I only started two weeks ago with Home Instead Exeter and East Devon but so far I am loving it - the office staff are so kind and reassuring especially as I have never done personal care before. They genuinely seem to care about the clients and the staff. I think the directors are a big part of it as they seem to know all of their staff and I love the way they are so passionate about Dementia Care - I didn't really understand much about it but after some great training during the induction I really want to learn more. I can see why Home Instead are very highly recommended. Well deserved.

I chose Home Instead, Budleigh, to take care of my Mum after doing much research on the internet; my instinct was that they were the type of people that would look after Mum with compassion, understanding and dignity - I was not wrong. But, they do so much more than I had ever anticipated; they treat her with kindness, respect, compassion and understanding and are an absolute God send. They make her laugh and smile and know how to deal with her every mood without getting cross with her, they are patient, kind and loving towards her and treat her like a human being and not just another elderly lady with Alzheimer's. They also support me and my brother as we go through this terrible journey; they have comforted me, helped us both, advise us, and we've even had some great laughs. They feel like part of our family and I can not praise or thank them highly enough. They keep in close contact with me and offer so much more than just care. Thank you all so much, we couldn't do this without you. You are, quite simply, the best.
