A tiny museum inside a museum, worth visiting. Opens from 12:30 to 7 p.m.(except Monday) and don't miss its guided tour at 3:30 p.m. Located in the second floor of the Errazuriz palace, shows interesting pieces from China, Japan, India, Korea and Thailand collected by Argentinians. A non Orientalism vision strives in the two showrooms. Check for special events.

The National Museum of Oriental Art has more than 3000 pieces including paintings, sculptures, engravings, objects of daily use and of cult, clothing, photographs, furniture and musical instruments from Asia, Africa and Oceania. Through exhibitions, workshops, seminars and conferences, invites to know and reflect on the different expressions of Eastern cultures and their links with the Argentine culture. The Museum develops activities in different cultural spaces of the country, in which different aspects of African, Asian and Oceanian art stand out, paths through the history of the villages are proposed and their customs and ways of life are described.

El museo está ok, ahí. No por lo que tienen, cada pieza que poseen es hermosa, sino porque es un lugar muy chico, son simplemente dos cuartos y en uno tienen las cosas todo amontonadas y no se puede ver muy bien. Falta luz o en algunos casos la misma refleja sobre el vidrio que la contiene. Me parece una falta de respeto total por la cultura de un continente. Espero que lo puedan mejorar porque el Decorativo es hermoso y la verdad este espacio no está a la altura del lugar.

¡Excelente! La limpieza y atención del lugar impecable, muy bien cuidado todo, y hermosas esculturas y obras de arte.

Muy interesante el recorrido, hay muchas obras para ver y el edificio está muy bien conservado.
