Love the food wish there was one closer to me or I would go there more.
Like others, when we moved to Buffalo my wife and I were very excited to have an A&W as there are not many around and we LOVE the root beer. Prior to COVID this store was overall very good. Service was fair but the food was always hot, tasted very good and the root beer was cold! Unfortunately since the shut down this has not been the case. Today was my third visit over the last 3 months and will be my last. All visits have been slow, food marginal and the staff indifferent. You would expect the opposite from a business trying to survive with drive thru only service. Today with 3 cars ahead of me it took 15 min to get to the order speaker, then over 5 min sitting there waiting to place my order only to be told they were out of CO2 and could not serve and fountain including root beer. Since I had already waited this long I went ahead and ordered the food we wanted. It took an additional 5 min to get my food. As I was handed my food I was told they were out of the clam shells for the coney dogs and they put them in an oversized box. Not the end of the world but just another indication of poor management and / or ownership. Will not be back.
The Best chicken sandwich I have ever had from a fast food place! Also had a root beer which I haven't had in a long time. Delicious!
Overpriced, way over priced. The burgers are meager representations of what a hamburger ought to be. Staff being nice doesn't make up for the fact that A&W in Buffalo just has no class.
