Bungree has been a registered and established non for profit organisation since 7th July 1995. Bungree is a Central Coast Aboriginal community based organisation which delivers government funded community based services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people residing on the Central Coast of NSW. Bungree is the largest Aboriginal non- government organisation “NGO” on the Central Coast. Bungree currently employs approximately 35 staffs, permanent, part time and casual field staffs. (please see Annual Report for staffing data) Bungree currently operates and delivers 17 funded programs and services to the Central Coast, Newcastle and Upper Hunter. Bungree’s programs and services target our frailed aged, young disabled, children, youth and families, homelessness and social and affordable housing.
