Empty airport. Flights always on time. Small, easy, no lines.

Several workers were wearing masks under their noses. They also don't understand that social distancing in addition to masks is necessary. A TSA worker actually told me that the mask and shield she wore made it so that she didn't have to distance from me. The whole lot of them needs an education session in infectious disease science. 2 /2 /21

Best airport in the US! They are always well staffed and the security line is short. I try to only fly from here because it is such a great time saver. They also have some nice eating places and small shops inside.

If you have to travel and are able, use small regional airports to minimize your risks. Check in was easy, security line was quick and friendly. Just like its former namesake, Bob Hope, this airport is a real treasure.

Small airport. Relatively quick to fly in and out. I was surprised at the long walk to rental cars. The walk is on an upper level covered walkway that takes you over streets and parking lots. Elevators were not obvious to me; signs took you to escalators. Terminal is a bit dated. Security was quick for me early on a holiday morning. My Hertz car rental was awkward with no car in my designated spaces and driving out, I was parked at the gate for what felt like 5 minutes for an attendant to sign me out. In the end, I'm sure it beats going through LAX!
