Friendly service and a menu that features options that go beyond deep-fried. The home-made pea soup is excellent. After supper, you may be able to score a serving of their well-known rolled ice cream. The salted caramel is a great choice.

Great people and super friendly. The food was also great. Wish the rolled ice cream was available during this time of year.
Restaurant didn’t seem to be the cleanest. Menu was large but many items seemed to be from the freezer - fries were not homemade and the gravy didn’t taste homemade either. The battered shrimp were also store bought. The scallops and cod are fresh though! The ladies working there were very friendly. I also thought the price was a bit high for what we had ordered, considering the quality and quantity of the food. Considering everything, I would choose somewhere else to eat in Burgeo.
Such a bad experience! Drove from Corner brook to Burgeo, had a great time at the beach. Having heard alot about this icecream place, went down and asked for rolled icecream. Girl at the cash said 'we don't do rolled ice-cream before 6:30pm'. I asked her about the notice that said 'ask us for rolled icecream any other time, if we're not busy we'll make it', i showed that to the cashier and she replied saying oh we're really busy where in fact it was only us in the store and one other family dining in. No courtesy shown at all
