I was running low on a compounded prescription and having trouble getting an appointment with my physician to get a new script. I was afraid I would run out of medication before the new script could get to Brant and be compounded. I called and was told that they happen to still have 10 days on hand and that they would hold for me in case I needed them. It turned out I did need the extra capsules as the new script was not going to be ready before running out. I called and they filled the prescription only to find out after it was charged to my credit card and delivered that I was charged TRIPLE the normal fee. When I spoke with a Tyson there I was told the charge was to \make up the tablets\. I told him I was 1) informed the tables had already been made up and did not have to be made up especially as he implied during the convo and 2) that I was not informed before hand that the charge would be TRIPLE. His response was \Well you needed them didn't you?\ Even after I told Tyson that I had been told there was already capsules on hand, he refused to compensate me for the inflated price. I have been dealing with Brant Arts for close to thirty years and have always had a very helpful and positive experience. I told Tyson that I was very dissatisfied and tempted to change pharmacies since my credit card had been charged triple the price without my knowledge. His response was \That is your decision.\ Unless Brant Arts contacts me to rectify this issue I will be moving all of my medications to another pharmacy.
