I went to Dr. Wu after a recommendation by a friend that had been successful at his clinic. My husband and I both attended the appointment. The doctor talked a lot about my weight being an issue for fertility. My husband, trying to ease the pressure of the appointment and take some heat off me (while I sat sobbing). Asked the doctor if there were any tests that he should undergo. The doctor advised him that he shouldn’t bother as “it is obvious that he is not the issue”. The bedside manner is so lacking in the man... I was humiliated. I also thought it quite terrible that even though he could see he had upset me with previous comments he continued on with this fat-shaming behaviour. I honestly sobbed the entire drive home and then some. Talk about a traumatic experience! This was a couple years ago and I was referred to another doctor in the Hamilton area.

Dr Wu and his staff are amazing. I have three special members of my family based on Paul’s care and guidance. I came to Dr Wu from the coldness of the Mississauga fertility clinic world. My guidance was precise, staged in level of intensity, and eventually brought us to IVF. My personal results were grim with empty follicles and retrieval complications of painful ovaries that is beyond uncommon. We ended up with one single egg, one single embryos, and we frozen this one chance strategically as I healed. Dr Wu counselled me to wait, when my body ovulated again we’d know that I had healed and rested from the trauma of extraction. 5 cycles later my body was ready, we defrosted our one shot and it worked. Not only did Dr Wu help us beat every odd and become pregnant but our journey did not end there. He was my OB through my pregnancy, and delivered our miracle via emergency c-section when my induction gave her heart issues. For so many reason I have ultimate faith in the skills, compassion, and thoroughness of the care of Dr Paul Wu. You were an angel sent to my family, thank you beyond words.
After experiencing chronic pain and irregular cycles for months I was referred to Dr. Wu. I requested blood work and he said it was not necessary, that I just had irregular cycles and should lose weight. I went to a Naturopath for a second opinion and used her recommendations to get blood work and ultrasounds via my family doctor. They were able to find multiple issues through these ultra sounds which I can now get treatment for. I wish my concerns had been taken more seriously from the start. I requested to be referred to a different OBGYN.
He delivered my baby 28 years ago by c section after being in labor 20 hours. Saw him a few days ago and he hasn't lost his touch! He is wonderful, professional,compassionate, , and kind. Highly recommend him.
I was referred to Dr Wu by my family doctor, I was truly lucky! Dr Wu is an excellent, professional and caring doctor.I had two surgeries done - Dr Wu treated health problems I had with skill and confidence, and left me feeling completely comfortable and secure that my problems were being treated the best way possible.
