We met Kat a few years ago and when we decided to get married there was no question who was going to design and make our wedding rings. We unfortunately had to postpone our wedding due to COVID but then I had a brain cancer diagnoses so we decided to go ahead and get married before my surgery. Kat was absolutely wonderful to work with. I’ve had two rings designed and made by modern love jewelry and have been blown away by the end results both times. The first ring was a bespoke ring made from two of my grandmothers rings, it’s so unique and stunning, I still look at it in awe. The second was a mourning ring made after my dad passed. Kat took my idea and built on it, designing a ring that supreceeded my expectations. Their studio is beautiful and welcoming, a lot of care was obviously put into the experience and comfort their client receives throughout the entire process of designing your piece. On top of all this, she gets excited about your piece, which adds so much to the experience. Upon meeting with Kat you can tell her passion for what she does is genuine. In a climate where everything seems to be fast fashion, MLJ provides an experience that allows you to enjoy the process behind creating a bespoke piece, something you wear with pride because it was beautifully crafted just for you. These are things you can’t emmulate by plucking something from behind a glass cabinet. I adore my modern love rings, and can’t wait to design my next piece with them.
