Don and Mark were very helpful in providing advice on material to use and installation. This location was great for me as a DIY installer. They were able to hold my wood and allowed partial pickup seven days of the week. This enabled me to do the work over a couple weeks so the original floor tear-out and new install could be done room by room. We did not have a lot of space to store furniture, wood, etc. They provided handy slip tongues and nosing for free when I was in a jam. The wood was from Preverco. It was a lower price Birch but I was happy with the quality of the wood, lengths, and price. No damage that I saw on my wood. Some unsightly resin filled knots which I tended not to use Purchased more than really needed which allowed me to generally use longer \clean\ boards and have spares. I recommend this store and product. I'm very glad I did not hire a contractor to do this job. Saved me a lot of money and from what I read of others - no grief over issues resulting from working with their schedule and experiencing their tendency to get the floor down with speed and skimping out on workmanship quality. Any special tools you might purchase to help out can be easily re-sold on Kijiji.

We had purchased 2300 square feet of oak hardwood flooring. We knew that there would be some knots but we were not prepared for the many knots that had deep cracks and were filled with black epoxy resin. The situation would have been improved had the installer Maurice Vanderhoot not laid the boards with knots in the most conspicuous places. You can see by the images how ugly it is. We paid a lot of money for an ugly foor. I would avoid purchasing from this store. This floor was a huge disappointment.

Horrible experience. Mark the store manager took 16 weeks to resolve a manufactures defect. I purchased flooring for my condo and upon installation I discovered that there was a defect from the manufacturer. I brought it to the stores attention and I was instructed to return the 19 boxes of defective material. I was informed that an exchange would be made. I was not receiving updates from the store and I had to contact Mark continuously to try and get updates on the status of my exchange. The only phone calls he would make were while I was on hold or in the store voicing my displeasure. This whole process took 9 WEEKS to get resolved. The new flooring that I received also had a defect. I had to return the product again! I have been waiting another 8 weeks for my flooring and it still has not arrived. This is the worst display of customer service I have ever received. With all of the inconvenience and delays with receiving my flooring I can’t even get the flooring delivered to my home. I do not recommend purchasing anything from this store. Do not expect any satisfying customer service.

Will never do business with this store again. They mislead us on product we ordered and mis lead us the procedures of delivery and inventory stock. Cost us an extra 500.00 of product we didn’t require. Brutal service and rude is an understatement.
