Thank you Peggi for opening the clinic on Saturdays and showing so much compassion to me and everyone who walks in that door. And Thank you Shelley for getting me into the office as quickly as possible. Everyone at ️WellBeings️, including the doctors I met, took all the time they needed to get as much information necessary to diagnose me carefully. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate that. The kindness of others is the best medicine. Everyone in the office made my whole day better. Keep up the good work And thank you Doctor Purdell-Lewis, for the recommendation for this book.

I know how hard it is. The fear of saying goodbye to an old and \trusted\ friend. The fear of returning to normalcy, when perhaps life before the drugs wasn't that great to begin with. The fear of looking down the barrel of life without your \little helper\, your fix, whatever you call it. The fact is, your \friend\ is killing you and you know it. Nobody wants to leave behind the legacy of a drug addict. Chances are you have people somewhere that care about you and even if you don't, Wellbeings will. There is a lot of shame involved in addiction, but the good news is there's nothing shameful about wanting to get better, start anew, get your life back, no matter what it's previous state was. It will give you a place to build on, mind unmuddled, without that constant thirst that drags you down every day. Whatever degree of addict you are, or even if you're not an addict yet, but are afraid you're on your way to becoming one, Wellbeings is there to help. Clean establishment, friendly and knowledgeable staff who genuinely care.. They are human like you and I, and therefore there may be longer waits some days, a mix up, a misunderstanding, etc. But they are quick to remedy the situation. Go see them. Be patient. Get your life back. Remember what it was like to truly live. See life in colour again, in 3 dimensions. Let your friends and family get the real you back. They miss you and I'm betting.. you miss you.

I honestly can't say enough about this clinic. Everyone there genuinely cares about you and don't treat you like an addict. They understand that this could be your mother, your sister or your daughter. They make you feel like a decent person who got caught up in a terrible and unfortunate disease. I love going here, we've shared laughs every visit and if I was ever going through a difficult time, everyone from the receptionist to the doctor to the owner took the time to listen when I needed it the most. The owner Peggy is one of the most special people I've ever met. I'll always remember a conversation her and I had a few years ago. She was talking about their funding was about to be cut again. She funds this clinic out of her own pocket so they can continue to help people who truly need their help. I realized then how much she really cares about every single patient. That even goes for the disgruntled and belligerent few that have come through their doors. I've witnessed a few times when they would scream, swear and verbally abuse the staff, who always kept their cool. I can never thank every single person that works/worked there enough, I hope you all know how appreciated, special and truly needed you really are. Thank you for caring so much when I felt like no one else did.

I purchased the medication lock box on-line and I was worried I wouldn’t receive it in time to put my Mom’s blister packs in it so I emailed the company to find out if I could pick it up the next day. The next morning I had a delivery from Peggi Shepherd, the President of the company. She actually hand delivered the lock box to my door. That was the best service I’ve received in years. Peggi also passed along some helpful information and let me know if I was not satisfied with the size of the box to let her know and she would replace it at no additional cost! I brought the box to my Mom’s and her Personal Support Worker was extremely happy with the lock box. With the PSW opening the box daily and distributing my Mom’s prescriptions for the day it will prevent my Mom from over medicating herself. This will allow my Mom to stay in her home and live a more independent life. Thanks so much Peggi! Delyn
