Great wine and convenient location, but best of all is the wonderful staff! They always give a warm welcome and are very knowledgeable about the wines. If you have very little idea of what wine to get or how to bottle it don’t worry because they can help you decide on the perfect wine and will walk you through, and help, with the bottling process so it isn’t daunting. If you’re thinking about trying U-Brew wine, don’t hesitate. This the place to go! Perfect whether it's your first time making wine or hundredth!

The Fermented Grape has been voted the best of Burnaby consistently year over year for good reason - it is a remarkable organization that provides a unique and memorable customer experience along with exceptional wines. Everything about the business is first rate starting with the owner operator Anita Hepting who has been graciously brewing wines for several decades. Anita and the staff are exceptionally knowledgeable about wine and wine making, and are always courteous and professional which adds to the relaxed and positive attitude in the shop. The shop itself is well suited to making wine and is both well appointed and exceptionally maintained at all times. You will never regret the experience of brewing wines at the Fermented Grape and more importantly enjoying the quality and flavours of the wines.

Why only 5 stars? We rate the Fermented Grape with 10 stars! There are a multitude of reasons that FG has been awarded “ Best in Burnaby” for countless years consecutively, but simply put, it is because they are THE BEST. My husband and myself have used other u-brew establishments in the past, yet none can compare to FG for service, quality of product and professionalism. We have been loyal customers since March 2011, and are always impressed with their continuing to upgrade the process and equipment to enhance the wine-making experience. If you are looking for cleanliness, friendliness and knowledgeable staff, this is the place to go.

Anita and the gang are awesome, and the wine is so good! Anita really knows her stuff and is so helpful when choosing wines. She really pays attention to what I like and helps me narrow down my choices. She hits it out of the park every time! And it's always a great experience when I'm in bottling. Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable! And the place is so clean and inviting!
