Chris was able to schedule our relatively small retaining wall project amongst his other larger projects, however we were treated as a valued, important client and received first class service throughout. His team arrived on time, communicated daily, acted respectfully of the neighbours, kept the job site immaculate and finished on time and on budget. The quality of the completed work and our experience with Fortress were both top notch. On top of it all Fortress was the most competitively priced of three quotes. Highly recommend!!

After getting at least 6 other quotes, we had Chris see our yard/slope which is fairly complicated. He spent alot of time measuring and talking to us about what we needed. His communication was excellent and punctual emailing us clear diagrams and accurate quotes. He did his best to keep within our budget but didn't shy away from letting us know what it would take. The final cost was exactly what he quoted us. When the work started, his crew was polite, professional and fast. They kept everything to code, installing proper drainage and keeping to height restrictions.

We first used Fortress to replace some window wells that had originally been built from wood and had subsequently rotted. Chris and his crew replaced the wood with stone, and integrated it perfectly into the existing pavers. We also had him replace some retaining walls. This year we had him replace our perimeter fencing as well as another retaining wall. We have been very impressed with Chris and his crew - they did a very high quality job and the final results look great.

Chris and his crew completed a full landscaping project on our new build which included retaining walls front and back, stairs and sidewalks, a parking pad, patio, lawn and all shrubs and trees. Chris was very engaged in the project and provided advice and readily answered all of my questions. He advised on placement and sizes of trees and shrubs which were all of high quality. His crew kept the job site very tidy and completed the work in a timely manner. His quote was transparent and there were no surprises in the final billing. Chris is clearly a very experienced landscape contractor and it showed in the great work he and his crew did for us.

Chris did a fence install for us at our property in Port Moody. He was fantastic to deal with. They were in and out to complete the job in a short time, cleaned up all their materials and no surprises with their quote at the end of the job.
