While far more lively during regular days filled with inviting and very well-planned multi-day activities suitable for everyone throughout the seasons, the cultural center continues to fully serve the community in as many ways as possible. Being a consistent temporary Blood Drive destination of the Canadian Blood Services, the large open space with multiple doors allow for easy social distancing. Underground parking is well-lit and accessible.

History is well preserved in the museum dedicated to the Japanese Canadians. Ground floor is designed for sports related activities and meetings. Upstairs you can learn about the Japanese heritage since 1877 until those days. It is sad to know that thousand of innocent people were held into custody in those internment camps during the 2nd WW. But let’s leave the past in the past. This venue is beautiful and well maintained. There is also a Japanese language school upstairs to preserve the culture within this community. Worth a visit!
The small grocery store has a surprising variety of imported Japanese products. Parking and food is good here, great place to expand your mind. The best place to learn more about the Japanese and Canadian History! Good for all ages!
Came here for the Japanese festival. They had food trucks and activities inside and a small grocery store connected to the complex. It's nice to just check out when there's events there.
It's a typical gloomy raining day in November; however, my eyes were brightened once I stepped into here. I have been here many times; there is a Japanese restaurant and a Japanese grocery store that are my local favorite. I know it's beautiful in Spring time because of the cherry tree and the Crescent road. But today, in the rain, I discovered its elegance and beauty again!
