Never nice to have to go to the hospital but Burnley General always took care of me and family's needs whenever we have had to go in before Appointments are generally kept to, plenty of parking on site, well laid out hospital. Shame that the A&E department no longer exists though and you have to go all the way to Blackburn for certain things

A recent visit to the Urogynaecology department proved to be well worthwhile. After months of disappointment at other venues, I was treated with the utmost respect, kindness and encouragement. Also it was refreshing to meet with a consultant who listened to my concerns and was very reassuring. I am now continuing to be treated in that remarkable department. Thank you
The hospital is OK for treatment but parking is diabolical. Every time I visit here it is always nearly impossible to park. Not enough disabled spaces forcing me to abandon my 78 year old mother and spend the next half hour driving around with all the other people looking for a parking space that does not exist. If you are disabled I recommend avoiding visiting this hospital if you are coming in a car as there is rarely any free spaces. You will end up wound up and very strussed. The hospital needs to address this issue.
