Probably the most honest review I will write. (My grandfather passed away on August 16th We had his service on the 20th.) This is the first time my family has dealt with anything like this & Burthey Funeral Home was recommended through family. I can’t even begin how much these people cared about our family & my grandfather’s dignity. They walked us through planning the services & followed up with us multiple times a day, every day leading up to the service. I’ve been to very few funerals/viewings. I have anxiety & I never been to a service where the person was someone I was very close to. Burthey Funeral Home made this whole experience unbelievably peaceful. I didn’t cry. I didn’t feel anxiety, but I felt comfort. They also made sure COVID guidelines were followed. My grandfather: He looked amazing. As cliche as this sounds, He looked as if he was sleeping. My grandfather lost weight & I couldn’t believe how they made him look the same way before he got sick. I even touched him many times & he didn’t feel so cold. He felt as if he was under the A/C. My family & I even said he had a little smirk on his face because he looked very sharp .. I miss my grandfather, but I’m so glad we were able to lay him to rest the way we did. He would’ve been soooooo proud. The staff felt like family. I forgot we were doing “business”. I can not thank them enough. ️ Thanks for all you do!
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE my wife and I have EVER had to deal with! Thank you Burthey for making my wife's father passing worst than what it needed to be!!! COVID or no COVID, the lack of communication and follow up from your funeral home, in regards to the death certificate was horrendous. And that is saying something when half of your customer demographic is alive and the other half (literally 50/50 split here) is deceased. I wonder how you stay in business - honestly! Oh and by the way for all you casual readers, still waiting on the death certificate...90 days and counting.

5 stars is not high enough rating. The team at Burthey were absolutely amazing. They made us feel as if we were the only clients that they had and our mother was in great hands. It's never easy to loose a loved one and they were very compassionate to my family wants and needs. And just a class act. Thank you so much.. The Brown Family
