Bought a Wisper 705 from the Charged Electric Bike Store at Bury St Edmunds and have been delighted with the bike. Great service from friendly and very helpful staff. I liked that I was able to try out a few different bikes, which made it much easier to compare all the options. Good follow up service too.

First class service from Adam at Charged.bike. Charged.bike seems to be a fairly unique experience with the guys there able to spend time understanding exactly what you might enjoy and how you can get the most out of your next e-bike. Touring the trails and tracks around the shop on the demo bikes it soon became apparent that what I thought I wanted, was actually replaced with something else, and after test riding upwards of 10 bikes of various styles, I found myself in an informed position and able to confidently choose a bike! My advice is, make an appointment and go and try some e-bikes... no hard sell here, just time and space to form your own opinion, but backed up by the team's knowledge and experience of these awesome machines!

I wanted to wait a while before posting so I could review properly: so sorry for the delay... Sandy and I spent an hour or so with Reece during the late May Bank holiday trying to decide on what bikes to buy. I made contact on a Friday night through the booking system and arranged an appointment for Sunday although Reece came back quickly to say we could pass by on Saturday if we wished... we did. He was patient with us, made several suggestions and allowed us to test all the bikes we were considering in, and just above, my budget. It seems like a simple thing but making sure they were all set up the same so Sandy, as a novice cyclist, could make a like for like judgement was very important. He made us a coffee and was happy to allow our dog to be with us whilst we tried everything several times. We settled on a pair of Raleigh Motus with Bosch drives that have proven to be excellent and worth the extra money I spent. We have cycled so much more than we have before and have been on the Tissington Trail a couple of times, as well as regularly cycling to town instead of driving. It's a joy to ride them. The bikes take all of the effort out of peddling if you want, or just assist a little if you feel energetic. I have pulled a bike trailer a couple of times up hill for 15 miles and the bike takes it all in its stride... makes my life easier. Thanks Reece - 2 happy customers. Highly recommended and would use again in a heartbeat.

Just bought two electric bikes from here. The staff Bernard and Reece (hope I've spelt his name right) were really helpful and there was no pressure to buy. They will help you choose the right bike to fit your needs with the knowledge to do just that. They go that extra yard to make the whole experience enjoyable. Don't be put off by the fact the website is under construction it is being overhauled, and please do not be put off that viewing is by appointment only, they explained to us that doing it this way gives them time dedicated solely for you which and in this day and age is fantastic. Big thumbs up for this great company Thanks

We had been considering buying electric bikes for sometime and had been looking at various makes and models on line but wanted to try before we bought. So pleased that we found Adam at Charged Electric Bikes. We wanted our bikes mainly for tootling round the forest and keeping up with our energetic grandson and Adam explained the merits of the Wisper Bikes which suited our needs perfectly. After a trial ride and several \wows\ later we decided they were definitely for us. Very impressed with Adams knowledge, appreciated his o pressure\ approach, well stocked showroom with a good range of bikes and prices, a local after sales service and our bikes are actually made in Kent! Even bought the bike rack and can't wait to get back to the joys of cycling without the effort.
