They are at present doing some refurbishment to the house, as seen from the photograph. Beautiful grounds, and they currently have photography exhibition in the grounds. The monuments walk is over 9km in length, so a lot of ground to cover, the walled garden was a bit disappointing, but that could be down to lack of gardeners during lockdown. The Italianate garden was excellent and the walks with the dog in the woods were good. Beautiful location and huge grounds.

Exceptionally lovely with very safe covid measures put in place. The variety of gardens and hiking trails were a joy to explore - especially the enchanted wood, the Mediterranean sun trap and the whole of the Italianate garden. The care of the grounds and the friendy, welcoming staff were of highest standards. Photography exhibition was an inspiring walk - perfect for time spent in such beautiful surroundings. We missed the garden shop unfortunately due to early closing hours of 4pm - we will just have to visit again! :) All in all, a perfect day.

Beautiful house, gardens & estate well worth a trip out, lovely place for families, walking picnics. Excellent tea room.
