Lol im from germany, I think my Friend goes too this School. Harry Joe and jack if you see this Lol hi
like
I used to go here and I moved 5 months into Year 7. The school has good facilities and I made good friends there, however the education system was not very good. I learnt almost nothing in certain lessons, as one teacher especially didn't make an effort to help the students at all, instead saying \You'll figure it out\ as he sat at his desk on his phone. There is a good support system, with good facilities for students who need physical and/or mental support. The rules were supposedly strict but for things such as rolled up skirts, etc there was no punishment, even though at the parents' evening the head said that these issues were among the most important to the school. There was a lot of bullying and horrible behaviour from students, and the head usually tried to scare students by shouting and one time a student I know was physically pulled by the backpack when they were taking too long to decide what to have for lunch. The music department is not the strongest, and it was difficult to learn in that kind of environment.
Appalling Ofsted report, and the Headteacher, Miss King has the audacity to blame the pupils in assembly that its their fault for bad behaviour!! Try looking closer to home Miss King, the school has gone downhill faster than an Olympic Slalom Skier since you took charge. The Governors need to find a decent Headteacher who can run the school with passion, respect and lead by example, and NOT WITH A ROD OF IRON that no one respects! Leadership is set by example and those will follow to do well and achieve. The school has a \Bootcamp\ reputation and a ule by fear\ of ridiculous new rules and regulations that the Headteacher has installed to show whos \boss\ what a shame this lovely new school started out so well, all brand new, shiny and modern. Seems staff don't stay for long driven away by the Headteacher, the Schools local reputation is not very good. Change the leader and the School will change
Friendly and supportive school with proactive leadership. Would highly recommend.
Good school - good SEND department. The SEN staff try their best, although the school really needs more TAs. They don't have much funding for SEND like many schools and the department is under a lot of pressure with the amount of SEN students and even with a statement they still find it hard to put the support in place, I can just see the pressure in the department, but I can't explain. basically the school can't provide high level support, full time 1:1 TA etc because there's only 2 full time TAs and many of us have a statement requiring the TAs. however if you have a lower special need, or different requirements in your statement, such as less TA support, then the school is good as a lunchtime and break group is provided and a lot of 1:1 and group interventions such as dyslexia and maths etc happen. the teachers havnt got a clue though on autism, only a couple have some sort of expereince. I'm now a school refuser because I can't cope at school and now I'm going to have to wait months to get into special. lastly T4 is good for pastoral issues - they don't really help me much in T4, which is annoying, but they can provide services and I've seen kids get them, just I didn't get them because I don't know even though I ask.
