Lobster Thermidor, venison as a starter and an amazing toffee Apple dessert that was more like a posh deconstructed Apple crumble. Really recommended, and supporting a local business in tough times.

We are on the bank holiday Monday and had a very nice meal. It's a set menu with 3-4 options per course. I highly recommend the onion soup starter. Delicious!
Myself and my partner Garry Clark are in Bury St Edmunds on holiday and decided to stop off at The One Bull Thursday 10.9.20. The waiter from start to finish was so attentive, very pleasant, and a credit to your business. The meal itself was lovely and the restaurant is probably one of the few that we have found incredibly safe and well set out, we would definately return if we ever return to this area. Lovely staff and venue!
Delicious Sunday lunch. Attentive staff and everyone followed good Covid-19 guidelines. The vegetarian options were limited but this may have just been the Sunday menu. All of the food tasted fresh and we had great service.
A little slow when to get seated like they had just opened. But there were several at the bar. Only six dinner selections. Pretty good service only one person taking orders but kitchen help bringing food to table. The short-ribs dinner I ordered was very good as was the brownie dessert.
