Unbelievably long queue...our tip: don‘t go for the drivers! (Locals told us, they want too much money) use the cable car in Sinaia: It’s way more modern, cheaper and drives more frequently. On top you can stay longer on the mountain. The last cabin departs at 5:30 pm in Sinaia instead of 3:45 pm in Busteni. Nevertheless the view from the mountain is great and still worth waiting

A simple, beautiful and effective way to lead us on Bucegi plateau where the adventure of our lives awaits us.

The experience is quite nice. You can use it as a simple transportation if you want to get to the top without delay.

Waited between 1.5 and 2 hours to ride (was a very hot day, but this year they at leastl had small benches and shades close to entry), much more expensive than expected. Excellent ride just above the trees and close to mountain sometimes. Really really anoying parking 'sharks' on the whole street (haven't seen signs of a firm on their shirts except on top, but still no receipt) and 'league' of jeep drivers, trying to help you skip the line at a higher price.

Runs once an hour and is relatively expensive (70 Lei for a return). We were unlucky and got there immediately after one had left and had to wait an hour, so we wandered over to check the monastery out. The cable car is very sturdy and didn't sway. It takes roughly 10 minutes to get to the top. The views are incredible as you ascend. Once up there the views over the Carpathians are stunning. The Babele (\Old Women\) and the Sphinx are both quite spectacular if you appreciate the raw beauty of nature.

I would give it 0 stars if possible. Poorly organised, infrequent trips, insanely overpriced, full of dodgy people offering alternative trips and harrassing people. Had to queue for 1.5h per trip. If you don't go early enough you will not secure a trip... a detail not mentioned anywhere. The staff doesn't wear Covid-19 masks and people are allowed to take trips without masks. The 5% student discount is also a joke. Horrible service overall.

Old machinery and pretty expensive (70ron),but the view is just perfect.

My mother told me that we might have to queue but we were lucky and we didn’t wait at all. The building itself is very disappointing and it can use some maintenance. The bar at the top is closed... the toilets are a disgrace BUT the view is breathtaking. The ride was smooth and we didn’t encounter any problems. We also used the “telegondola” to come up from Ialomița cave.
