Terrible case management. My fiancé and I came here to get help with our relationship. I relapsed with a substance but quit with the help of my then fiancé. Afterwards we did nothing but argue with each other, I had become mentally and verbally abusive. My ex was addicted to gaming online to the point of neglect in many aspects of our life. We began treatment with Mindyanne about a month before covid hit. So the majority was online video sessions. I began paying out of pocket until we found that my ex's insurance covered it, so it became her case. Started well until we were given 'assignments' which my ex did none of. I was going to meetings, talking to people about it, Journaling, reading literature associated with my issues, my ex played league of legends and d&d. Eventually it got to the point where my ex had the power somehow to decide if i was 'allowed' to join in OUR treatment, it was up to her if I was allowed to participate, which eventually turned into me being booted out MID-TREATMENT and Mindyanne becoming my ex's personal therapist, or yesman if you will, no followup or anything, I still don't know why or how. I wanted help, I was progressing with treatment and got kicked out by the will of my now ex, she left mid-lease and I was eventually kicked out and am now homeless, this was almost a year ago. All the while my ex did none of the reccomedded assignments, Mindyanne pretty much used this circumstance to get me to attend NA meetings and nothing more.

Their co-parent counseling was the worst experience of my whole custody battle! My ex played Susan like a fiddle by playing victim, projecting, and ranting. Rather than being coached through this unhealthy behavior, she got rewarded for it. Susan let her frequently hijack the entire session and called me “angry” if I tried to bring us back on topic for some kind of closure.
I can't say \Thank You!\ enough to express how grateful our family is to Susan and Amy! These women made such a huge impact on our lives. My child would not be the person today had it not been for their services. We were living in a nightmare and they brought us hope and skills to address our child's special therapeutic needs. We had been to a number of therapist that \claimed\ to know how to treat Reactive Attachment, but behaviors only intensified, we were made to feel guilty by other therapists as if it was our issues/ incorrect parenting, therapist were manipulated by our daughter, our home was a war zone, and we were ready to give up. It was Susan and Amy who were able to help us truly understand our child. It was Susan and Amy's therapeutic skills, and their model of parenting a RAD child, we were able to see improvement. We could Actually \ BREATH\ and enjoy our daughter! These two women are the real deal and I cant say enough praise about them!
We were so appreciative to have found a place that understood OUR situation and what was going on with our kiddo. \Traditional\ therapy was a joke and a waste or our time and money. Getting to work with a team (Susan and Amy) who will address both the parenting issues with the parent as well as behavior issues with the child is priceless.
I have been seeing counselor ‘s since I was 14 and I have never been able to open up like I have here. It’s nice going somewhere I honestly feel welcome and not judged, thank you Susan, you really changed my life.
