The staff can be very nice. From the reviews I see that it depends who you get; I’ve had generally good interactions. However, I only go here if Bottle King or Gary’s doesn’t have what I want because this place is usually more expensive and it’s worth the drive to the others.

I've been a local Kinnelon resident for over 30 years and I've seen the many changes over the years. Jay now runs the place and he is very kind and fair. If you see a bottle of Champaign that you believe is overpriced, he will match it for a similar price at Bottle King or Gary's. I go there for the convenience. I will pay a little more so I don't have to drive for 20 minutes just for a bottle of wine or a little beer. It's a popular place because it's the only place in town.

Once again, overcharged at checkout. I avoid this place unless I have to make a quick stop. I recalled that 6 months ago I was overcharged approx 7.00 on 80 worth of merchandise. So yesterday I had the total and tax in my head before I checked out. Yep, 5.00 overcharged on 40 worth of merch. And yep, the tool behind the plastic at the counter was rude. Good riddance.
