The unsupportive housing program is really great. It motivates you to be a helpless stereotype by punishing you for past accomplishments via a sliding scale payment system. Between my inflated rent and having to fund and perform all maintenance items, I get rid of thousands of unwanted popularity coupons every month. I love this place. I have been going here for over a year now and I'm done w all my mandatory appointments. However I liked my counselors so much I stayed bc they are so helpful. Anytime I was having issues w anything they went out of their way to help and address them. If your serious about treatment and want help this is the place to be.

I switched insurance and they dropped me. I find it disgusting that they would refuse to give a mentally ill patient their meds. These people right here are what's wrong with the mental health system in this country.

The place is good, aside from a continuation of doctors lacking comprehension for the reality of my thinking and behavior. The management/supervision is remarkably compassionate and good. My only beef is with a doctor who failed to discern the truth about me, and who failed to accurately evaluate and who misdiagnosed me. I have done a little study as far as mental illness criteria and symptoms, and it's apparent the doctor lacked in understanding. He did not probe my mind or gather actual evidence despite my complaints for the incorrect records. I will say again, the management/supervision is great; they are compassionate and humane. I will also add I see a therapist here and he is excellent! He is very bright and graceful.

First off, be forewarned before going there that most therapists there only offer appointments between 10 and 2. Very inconvenient hours if you happen to have a full time, 9-5 kind of job.. Positives: my therapist was great, the reception staff was nice, and my case manager is wonderful. Negatives: their hours, as I mentioned above. Furthermore, whenever I called them to try to work something out with my schedule change, my problem was escalated to the supervisor, who was very combative and argumentative and didn't seem interested in hearing what I had to say. Overall a decent place, as long as your schedule allows for it, but gods help you if you ever need to talk to the supervisor for any reason.
