I was very reluctant to go private, but was forced to by the shambles that is NHS dentistry. However the experience turned out to be not so bad at all. From the minute the receptionist picked up the phone the whole experience was a delight. The staff are friendly and utterly professional, from top to bottom. The equipment was visibly at the next level and the treatment, a root canal filling, was carried out so faultlessly and painlessly that I almost fell asleep in the chair. Everything was explained carefully at every step of the way. Despite my reluctance to go private, I can't help but believe after the event that is was actually very good value for money, considering the premises, the equipment and the staff expertise. So 5 stars from me and a big thank you to this Derbyshire practice.
