We were driving back from Alton towers when we came across this lovely looking pub. We were delighted to be able to get a table, and had an absolutely wonderful meal. The staff were all lovely and the food was top notch (please excuse my odd bunless burger!) to boot! All in all it was a great place to stop and I look forward to stopping here again on my next trip to the Peak district.

Exceptional pub in the middle of nowhere. We spent an entire afternoon and evening here playing games and enjoying the highland beer. Service was a tiny bit slow due to ordering a large amount of food, but the quality was great and the prices reasonable. Thoroughly enjoyed by all.
