Most important for the visiting public, Barnstable County Correctional Facility is staffed by courteous and professional deputies who value the time of those visiting inmates at their jail. I could not have had a more effecient entry, visit, and exit. I only knock it down a peg because the inmates absolutely hate the place because of it's lockdown policies, which limit their freedom while serving their sentence.

Was detained there for a lil and upon intake my money went missing they only let you out for 3 hrs a day and the rest ur locked in. If your an indegent inmate you cant watch tv without purchasing a radio or send mail until you have been there for a few weeks. Its a money scam and they really make it hard for the inmates to stay positive
