Very interesting and quiet place (when there isn’t any wind) Hang out for lunch and relaxed atmosphere. Watch out for ticks however; we brought one home recently. While we didn’t bring any dogs, it’s a GOOD reason to keep them on leash.

I go for 2 mile walks with my dogs, peaceful until the young adults decide to do doughnuts behind the hills. Disturbs the tranquility of the park. Usually safe to walk on without getting or finding any fishing hooks.

There is not much at Bethany Reservoir other than a single boat launch and a few picnic tables. But it is almost always quiet and the scenery is beautiful. I love riding my bike up there.

The main gate was closed which led to a decent walk to the water. The area was nice, water was clear and fishing was active. Can't complain and will keep coming back.
