ABSOLUTE PIGSTY!!!!! Let me sum it up for you: Reception: Stained carpets, walls and sofas. Staff: Rude and mocking. Room: ABSOLUTE PIGSTY!!!!! Mouldy beds, broken dirty windows, disgusting curtains and bedding, broken door (there was a hole going through the bathroom door) and dust everywhere even on the hairdryer cable. Our room was smelly and incredibly dirty. Our view from our room was of the hotel and restaurant's bins. Restaurant: A RIP-OFF! It was frozen food and there was only one choice for each course. We were meant to stay there three nights and only ended up staying one, that's how bad it was. Worst 95.50 euros spent of our LIFE. YOU ARE BETTER OFF SLEEPING IN YOUR CAR OR OUTSIDE IN THE VOSGES FOR THAT MATTER.

This hotel is situated in a beautiful area, and we had a balcony which made our stay even better, we had lovely views, it's a family run hotel, and they have put their heart and soul into this place, nothing was to much trouble for them, and Marcia who was the front of house was marvellous and hard working and lovely, the food was top notch, Nadya was the chef and also one of the family, it's a lovely quiet area, the hotel looks Alpine and has got 53 rooms also it's got a indoor swimming pool and a spa ,the bathroom could have been better , I decided they are still worth a 5 star review, and we would definitely return.
Worst service ever!!! I travel a lot and I never experienced such a bad service. Even after complaining and the assurance from the reception that the boss will be contacted. Nothing happened. The boss never showed up. Unbelievable how the guests and their needs are totally ignored there. I am surprised they are still existing.
I went to a wedding there this summer. Everything was fine except on thing. Someone from the employees has stole a part of guests gift (at least 400). The hostel didn't admit the problem and give no compensation to the married.
In a lovely location in the Klingenthal, just 15 minutes from the motorway. Friendly staff, clean rooms and good food.
Nearly perfect stay. Excellent dinner and decent breakfast offered at the hotel. The interior and exterior looks a bit dingy, but we had no bad experiences with services offered. Great value for money.
