Rodriguez was my guide and he was awesome. I was privilege to be by myself and not in a group. I learned a lot about the Mexican history and the different use of different types of cactus. The views was awesome and the ocean was beautiful. It was a little windy, but it actually made the tour better especially when we rode on the beach. I would recommend this excursion to anyone. This was my first time at Amigos, but my second time in Cabos. I will return to visit again.

Excellent time..great tour guides!Awesome combo trip
We did a full horseback tour (2 hours) and a full ATV tour (2 hours) back-to-back. It made for a very long, but fun, day. This was our second time using Amigos and the staff are always very friendly and courteous. The horseback riding is our absolute favorite- nothing beats galloping through the sand as the waves crash right beside you. The ATV was fun, but a little much after our horseback riding- I think we would have enjoyed it more if we did it by itself. When the guides noticed we were getting stuck behind a larger group that was going really slow, they pulled us aside with another guide and we got to go through some side trails where we went faster. Expect to get real dusty and bring water! We got stuck for about 10-15 minutes after someone ahead of us flipped their ATV and the sun gets real hot real fast! Drivers are friendly and prompt. Great choice for excursions in Cabo!
The sunset ATV tour to the beach was a blast. Thank you to our awesome guide Don Julio. He was a patient teacher to this first timer. Highly recommend all around. Tips: Bring cash for tips, photos and post-tour beers. Plan to get dirty! A light jacket is good for the way back on the evening tour.
It's a multi step process to get the rentals. At each stage the price for the rental goes up more. They make you drive slow the whole way so don't bother with the upgrades.
Great time! Unexpected costs. I decided to do this spur-of-the-moment through an excursion salesman outside my resort. Paid 25 deposit and that didn't seem to be accounted for when I paid the rest at the office. They said it was but it wasn't in the numbers they showed me for my balance due. Was supposed to be 45 but ended up being around 100 with my 40 upgrade to an automatic. That aside, my tour guide Johnathan was excellent. It was just him and I so I could really open up the speed. Good mix of smooth and more challenging terrain so I could go fast and also experience the rougher stuff. Nothing too crazy though at all. VERY doable by anyone who can drive. Two hours but just a little over an hour of actual driving. We stopped and Johnathan educated me on the geography, history of the area, and the local vegetation. Overall I had an absolute blast. There was a photography sale. Only 45 since I was a solo rider. Felt bad turning them down because the photographer spent all that time just for me.
Amigos picks you up at your hotel and transports you to their location approximately 20 minutes outside of Cabo. Staff there are very friendly and your paperwork completed quickly. Some other post mention high pressure sales tactics for insurance but that was not my experience. I declined the insurance and just left a credit card pre-authorization to cover any accidental damage. If you are a confident driver there should be no charges, otherwise take the insurance. Our tour guide Jonathan was excellent to work with. He is interested in giving a great experience and getting back safe. I took the side by side RZR with my wife and was 100% satisfied. Along the way they a photographer taking pictures of the ride at various locations that can be purchased for a reasonable cost at the end of the ride. Overall I would recommend Amigos for your next excursion.
Hella fun adventure! We got dirty af, but totally worth it!
