I liked the layout of the restaurant, and I enjoyed my dinner with some refreshing Pacific breeze while receiving some great service. The calamari appetizer was good, and served with a mildly hot creamy sauce. I liked my rib eye steak also. I would absolutely recommend the carrot cake dessert. No surprise it is one of the regular favorites.

The best lamb I've ever had, and the filet mignon was solid too. Crab cakes weren't the best and the chocolate cake was awful. Otherwise, great experience and lovely ambiance.

Been coming here for 6 or so years. Incredibly disappointed this evening. Lights were so bright I thought I was in a bingo hall. Steak was so rare you knew it was frozen before cook. Mac and cheese was kraft boxed with added rosemary. I think they forgot we were there. Our waiter was agitated that we were even there. We gave it a 2 only because the espresso martini was fabulous. Just stay at your resort .. no reason to bus to the steak house .. other than the driver is quite a comedic.

Quivira Steakhouse encompassed the perfect romantic atmosphere, delicious food, excellent service! From the moment we walked in the door, we had friendly greetings to our table. Our drinks never ran dry and someone was checking on us frequently but not too much. We enjoyed each other’s company while eating a fabulous meal from appetizers (I recommend the crab cakes!), salad (cliff salad was fresh and delicious!), entree (filet mignon cooked to perfection and juicy), to dessert (fabulous full slice of carrot cake!) and drinks (espresso martini perfectly layered). I highly recommend this restaurant located Quivira Golf Course.

Service was great, the staff is very nice. Almost all of the views of the ocean have been blocked by plywood and rebar due to construction, very disappointed by that. Food was bland, steak was overcooked, sent back, then served raw. Mac and cheese looked and tasted like Kraft brand. Would recommend going into town off of the resort if you’re looking for high quality. Very disappointed after seeing the setting.

Sommelier and wine were great and setting is stunning. Problem is the food was awful. Steaks were expensive and badly prepared. Sent back leathery and hard way overtone rib eyes and got back cold and raw. Also tough and not worth 50 usd Ala carte. Steaks are better at Dennys. Crab cakes were bready and with little discernable crab. Pretend fine dining, waste of money. New chef needed.
