Beautiful views and perfect option for people who are not fit enough to trek all the way up to the mountain, or like us have limited times in Snowdonia and still want to see all. Sadly, due to the pandemic, you can't reach the summit, but still get amazing views. It is, undoubtedly, worthy!

Absolutely loved our visit to Llanberis mountain railway. Great little train, super staff, views were phenomenal. Totally recommend!
Probably it's nice to have a trip to the top of the mountain, unfortunately all tickets have been sold, so we had to climb up, anyway was a brilliant experience and took us 5.5 hours to climb up and down
Great ride up the mountain with good views. Felt it was expensive, cost me 124 for 4 of us. We did have our own space. We enjoyed it, and were happy we road down the mountain when we saw some of the tired people walking down. Would recommend it if you have older relatives.
A great all round experience for everyone. Have to pre-book tickets online as it is very popular, tickets cost 31 per adult. At the moment they are only taking you 3 quarters of the way up due to covid-19. From this point you are quite high up (799 meters) and you can see nice views on a clear day. When you get to the top they give you 30 minutes to get out and take a few pictures. On the train you have to wear a mask as well. And there are no toilets at the top so make sure you go before you set off. The whole trip including getting out at the top takes just over 2 hours. At the bottom there is a nice gift shop and café too.
