The schnitzel I ordered was way overcooked and tasted like paper. The chips were bland and undercooked. The pizza soggy. Also overpriced. I wouldn't recommend the food.

The meal I got was way overpriced! I had the calamari and it came with less than 10 chips and a salad with a couples of leaves and 3 slices of tomato.. The calamari rings tasted like flour they were so dry and the salad was shriveled up like it had been out over night. I also got a hot drink which tasted like soap. I'm not trying to be horrible, I'm being honest. Will not go again.

Unfortunately I returned to Bon appetit expecting better food but alas and alack the experience did not fulfill the expectations. My bill was 30 for a couple of dim sims, chips ( which were stale and cold) a couple of Chiko rolls together with 3 coffees. That’s ridiculous and this is the better end of Charles St in Launceston. It’s time for an improvement as Fitzies City Cafe closed it’s doors there is a small choice to sit for a snack and coffee that is not a restaurant.

When we visit Launceston annually, Cafe Bon Appetit is our regular breakfast spot. The staff are efficient and friendly,the premises are always clean and the food is fresh reasonably priced and cooked exactly how we like it.
