Don't go here unless you really don't like your car. He quoted me about 15% less than other places, and he was incredibly desperate to get my business. I like shopping local, so I went with him, and that was a terrible mistake. He was sketchy from the very start. The first time I met him, he had just woken up from a nap at 4 PM, and wanted a deposit for the work ahead of time. I told him there was no real rush to get the job done (it's for a backup car) and boy, did he take that to heart. I think it was 2 and a half weeks before I got my car back. I had to get the windshield re-replaced at my own expense, and they told me that he didn't use any primer, which would lead to the frame around the windshield rusting to "swiss cheese".

Do not use Caffey’s Auto Glass. I took my car to Caffey’s because of the low price. Well, in this case, you get what you pay for. The job was very sloppy. He got glue all over the dashboard, and the liner was not replaced correctly. Since he did not use primer underneath the glass, I had to get the windshield completely redone to avoid rusting. When confronted about the substandard work, Mr. Caffey was not willing to make it right. He stopped answering my calls and became very antagonistic.
Highly recommend this place. They had a whole new back windshield put in for me within an hour! Very friendly,&very fast. Opened on Saturday. I will definitely be coming back for any future glass repair. Thank y'all again!
(FIRST OFF I DONT RECOMEND THIS PLACE FOR ANYONE ELSE AT ALL) couse I went up to this place and got my windshield replaced, and the windshield got done pretty fast and also done right. Only when he was done with the windshield, I got back in my car and my blinker switch was snapped off of my steering column. And what was crazy is he first acted like I broke my own car. Then when he finally admitted to it. He didn't even try to help or pay for my blinker to be fixed. So needless to say after arguing with him for like 20 mins, I finally gave up and drove away. So If he breaks something on your car ull have to sue him couse he will not replace it..
Horrible from start to what you would call finish. Made an appointment for 9 AM he would not answer the door or the phone. Finally called around 11 and apologized for sleeping in. Left my car and when we went to pick it up was shocked at the amount of damage. The dash has multiple gouges and scratches, the exterior paint around the entire perimeter will have to be fixed because it is chipped and scratched, there was glass everywhere including in the air conditioning vents and to top it off the windshield is not even installed properly and will need to be redone. Asked for a refund for the money we paid he refused and seemed angry that we would even ask such a thing. Now we are out the money we paid him and the money for our deductible to file with insurance. I can not imagine how he keeps the family business operational if that is the kind of work and treatment he gives customers. Word to the wise. Save yourself the trouble and frustration and take your vehicle to someone who takes pride in their finished product and taking care of the people of Abilene.
Cuz it took a week to get it done
Got a chip in the windshield on the way into town in the evening while visiting family . I guess because it was after-hours and he was the only one available in town, he charged me 60 for the worst repair I've ever had. Said I could turn it into insurance, but they later said I had to call a specific company they used and I didn't know this. Left a gaping hole after drilling and filling. I'm used to smooth looking/feeling jobs for 15-20. I've done better jobs myself with DIY kits from Walmart. Should have just repaired it myself but it was inconvenient because I was traveling and I was worried about the chip spreading fast. What a rip off!
If I could give a negative star rating I would. Caffey’s replaced my windshield on a Monday and informed me to not get a car wash for 48 hours. I waited 72 hours (Thursday) before getting a car wash which then showed that my windshield was LEAKING into my vehicle. I promptly called and he said to bring it by the next day because he was too busy to get to it that day. I go to drop my vehicle off at 9am on Friday and am met with a locked door. I call Craig Caffey, again, to let him know I was there to drop my vehicle off, to which he replied “well I didn’t go in today”. Shocked and rather pissed off at this point, I told him I needed it done today because I would be going out of town on Sunday. He stuttered around that he’s at home and that he didn’t go in, etc., until finally saying that he would be in Abilene later today and that he would call me because it should be a quick fix. 7 hours, 6 phone calls, and 1 rather upset voicemail later, I have yet to still get him to answer the phone to fix the MISTAKE that he made. Would not even recommend this rude and half-ass business to my worst enemy. Baffled, I am absolutely baffled at the lack of professionalism this “business” has for its customers.
