Ochre is not just a restaurant, it is an experience. We tried a few items on the menu, the highlight being the pork belly and scallops. Delicious! The servings were generous and each dish was uniquely flavoursome. The service was outstanding, the drinks menu extensive and overall there really is something for everyone to enjoy. A must visit in Cairns.

Our best dining experience in Cairns! The food was wonderful, had tempura bugs, mango lime cheesecake and a red meat dish (sorry forgot which one). Absolutely worth the cost, if we had more stomach room the degustation would have been a very reasonable choice. Service and drinks were great, the menu innovative and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. Highly recommended if you want a fancier dinner.
This was not the first visit for us; nor will it be the last. Each time we visit this restaurant, we are not disappointed. Excellent service, food options abound; no matter what we have chosen, we have enjoyed everything. Our most recent visit was to celebrate my Mother's birthday (it was her third visit) and enjoyed her special treatment of having a sparkler included with her dessert. Many thanks to the staff and management. We will be back.

Excellent food with beautiful indigenous spices, fruits and herb's. The cocktails and desserts were also suberb. The setting, sitting out on deck with cool breeze off the water & watching the passing 'fashion parade' was also enjoyable. Thanks for a lovely evening, we'll recommend you to family and friends.
Beautiful dining experience on the waterfront. We had the tasting menu with matching wines and it was all delicious. Wines were A. And very reasonably priced compared to similar quality in Melbourne! Definitely recommend a visit.
The service was outstanding! We had the fettuccine which was perfect with an amazing blend of ingredients, total taste sensation. Then we had the cheesecake, which also was faultless. Highly recommend this place and nothing but the greatest praise for the wonderful waitress, also we were able to buy some take home condiments such as their spice and dakka which was a bonus.
