The Investment Society, UNICAL is a student-run Club at the University of Calabar founded in 2018 by young finance enthusiasts. It that seeks to provide students across all discipline at the University of Calabar with in-depth knowledge on Finance, Investment Banking and Management Consulting. We aim to provide members with technical knowledge, financial know-how and build an overall better understanding of investing, markets and economics through hands-on learning. We essentially want to groom students with the necessary skills as a foundation to build a successful career in these career paths. We attempt to this through workshops, intensive training programs, stock pitch and business case competitions and networking sessions.
