A truly curious place that is worth visiting, even if it is in a slightly worse-for-wear state thanks to unthinking Vandals. It is a massive work of sculpture that's pretty much constitutes its own little Park. It was the biggest work undertaken by one of Portugal's most renowned sculptors, Ferreira da Silva who died in 2016 leaving behind a substantial artistic heritage. It reminds me a bit of parque guell in Barcelona, obviously not built to that scale, but with the same dreamy modernist Style. It is hitting the way at the back of the Royal Palace and indeed, before I I did this listing, most people reacted to this Garden of water there , so if you are inclined, you can check other people's opinions there. One thing I should ask is that, despite the name, there is no water in the garden. I believe it's named after the nearby mineral wells that gives the town its name. All in all, well worth a visit, something incredibly different to everything around and yet a testament to the fact that this town is renowned for sculpture.

A não perder. Obra espectacular. Pena que esteja tão negligenciada, falta da cuidado por parte da CM das Caldas da Rainha. Deveria ser um Ex libris das Caldas.
