Simple Restaurant but very good taste and service (good portion too). Love their Thai as well Chinese selections. That extra spicy Thai sauce is awesome. Recommended place to dine
Good. Fresh vegetables, generous amounts of food with quality. I can do one stop Asian food pickup. Loves all Chinese food and beef sate noodle soup. Also loves fried rice with sate sauce. Curry with coconut rice is another one of my favorite. .
I had become tired of Chinese food in Calgary to the point I would make my husband go alone if he had that craving, all the while he was becoming frustrated at the lack of quality. He found Han Chao, ordered, brought it home, sat down to eat, and it was OMG! Amazing quality and incredible flavors- all so fresh! This is now one of our go to restaurants (we are very particular and usually prefer to cook at home). Awesome job and I would recommend this restaurant to any of our best friends!
The best fried rice I've ever had in Calgary! The vermicelli and wings were nice too! Also, the servers were very kind and friendly:')
Order the 4 person combo. Helpings seemed a bit small for 4. Food was OK, nothing earth shattering. Service was excellent.
we are regulars of this restaurant and they are usually very fast, but today they were really busy so we had to wait for an extra 20 minutes. but everything still tasted as good as usual. we are still very happy! merry Christmas and a happy new year!
Just had their wor wonton which is excellent... and It really is a meal! I see others had a bad experience at New Years. That was a very unfortunate situation. I know...ugh, we struck out last year at a different restaurant where our order was picked up by someone else. We took a chance ordering out this year, knowing if anyone was open they were going to be very busy. Options were limited but fortunately this local favorite was open. I too found out my order was not ready and would be delayed at least another hour. It was crazy busy in the parking lot and inside. I understood the situation and told the young fellow at the counter, too bad it was only this one night. I get orders from them often enough to know its not ever like that! The limited kitchen staff was simply overwhelmed by all the, 'stay at home New Years calls' and I saw some large orders going out the door. Lucky for us, we had leftovers and it was getting late, so after waiting a while we decided to just cancel the order. Late that night, the manager Jane sent a text giving me an apology and added a 30 credit for another day. It was a nice gesture, one which I didn't expect (or really need.) We love the food and the service has always been excellent. I want to support the local business and hope they can survive in these times and stick around.
