Great spot to have a communal fire with lots of space. Make sure to book your fire pit through the city

Love this area. Close access to river. Wade in. Throw rocks. Safe. Lots of tables etc but all ate bookable . Bring your own chairs and table. Ok playground. Parking ok but busy. Road down to park almost not drivable due to ruts. City needs to fix. No excuse this is in such bad shape. Bathrooms closed easter wknd. Whattt!!!!???? So many ppl need a bathroom. One porta potty was at parking area. It was 1 cm from the top FULL. Shame on the city. It was disgusting. Had to take our 3 yr old to find some distant trees to do his business #1 and 2. No time to pack up and drive to a stn which most are closed!!! Horrible. We may be fighting covid but dont forget everything else. I still love this park but city needs to step up and keep it covid and bacteria safe!!

Its a nice park along elbow river. Not huge but does hold alot of ppl. Easy river access. Some picnic tables but ppl book them so not avail usually. Several benches. No toilet before long wknd in may. Not acceptable!! Parkjng lot not huge but we found a spot. Road down is rough and full of pot holes. Small playground. Lots of dogs. Lots of trees. One large open area to play. Good city river area safe for kids to wade in.

Great spot for a picnic/bbq. Has enough grills and benches to accommodate even a large group. Plenty of space for outdoor games. Beautiful walk around the river after dinner.

Beautiful park in winter and in summer. The river is perfect to wade in, or float slowly down and there are plenty of BBQ pits and areas for picnics. You can also stroll through the neighbourhood on the north side of the park and take in the air of multi million dollar mansions and general upperclass snobbery. Also all my friends with dogs love this park for its off leash areas.
