You are on a very nice and easy board walk to go down to the valley to see the falls near by the Bow River, even though the falls are small. It takes around 1/2 an hour for a one trip. Walking down to the valley is refreshing , with shade trees and brook on one side. The water is sparkling clean! This valley was under the sea a million years ago, I feel relaxed and enclosed by the nature while strolling down the valley. It is highly recommended for a family for this walk.

This is a nice little walk from cliff top down a valley to river level. It's not steep or hard to manage, so perfect for small children. However, do not bring a stroller. There are stairs, and the boardwalk is only wide enough for two people to pass. Lovely view point at the end.

Really impressive hiking biking outdoors playground just minutes from the hustle bustle. If you need a fix of mother nature to make your day manageable its one of many Calgary hiking trails. Enough room for everyone to enjoy the great outdoors in solitude. Right here in our great city. Mother Nature has our back. THE Minute my feet hit the trails and the air more saturated with good oxygen rich fresh vibes hits I am revitalized. Dogs are also able to use this trail off leash. I am a nutritionist who specilizes in heart health and stress reduction and most active people should add this place to their list of health priorities. Once you get there its almost addictive - so many trails you just want to keep going. The dirt trails are best for reconnecting to Mother Earth. We all need the restorative power of mother nature to offset environmental toxins like chemtrails. EMF's, aluminum in deodorants, glyphosphates, GMO foods etc.. Exercise helps sweat out toxins and breathe in ions from river and oxygen from trees. It even resets your appetite to more natural choices. All RIGHT IN OUR NEIGHBOURHOODS. A fellow hiker told me to check out the 12 Mile Coulee Loop as well. To your health ...

Great little walk, the boards and steps really help. River access not as easy as previously but great views of the Springs, River, Scenery, Wildlife and lookout of the Bow Valley.

Hard to find the first time, the pathway was not clearly indicated and I ended up going the wrong way for WAY too long. Once you find it, it's a nice walk. Great for kids.
