Simmering Upholstery are amazing! We had a very modest budget to give our mid-century thrift store bought sofa the love it needed. Staff were fantastic, helpful and mindful of our limited budget; the fabric we sourced (from another fabric store in a sale) they advised us with how many meters to buy. We are so happy with results! The craftsmanship is beautiful and era correct. We know we will enjoy our sofa for years to come. Such a better way to give new life to a classic piece of furniture than buying new AND supporting a local business. Would highly recommend and will definitely use again!

Bob did an amazing job when he restored an examination chair for my office. He is also very reasonably priced compared to others in Calgary. Highly recommend this place!
They did a miracle job with my Indian sofa. I can't believe my eyes. Most reasonable and hardworking place in Calgary. I would strongly recommend them. Jim and Nattalia are geat team. They delivered all the way to Chestermere for free. Can't thank enough for everything. Used the same fabric again and fix it was a big challenge but they did an excellent job. Thank you Jim.
Jim Simmering was recommended to us by Nada from The Bay downtown and we are so pleased that she shared! Jim came out to see what we needed and gave us a ballpark quote depending on what material we found for my parent's chair. We followed up by going to Simmering's place of business to finalize our choices and were given our quote. Jim came back out to pick up both chairs and gave us an ETA. Both the quote and the ETA were accurate and as you can see, the chairs turned out fabulous! Thank you to Jim and his team! We highly recommend Simmering to anyone looking to have upholstery done.
