I brought in a small leather purse to have the leather clasp lengthened. It was a simple, relatively straightforward task. I left it for an agreed 6 days. When I arrived to pick it up the job was not done. Not only this, the leather clasp/strap was completely destroyed. It looks like it was sanded as the leather is completely taken down and now white. Furthermore, it is obvious that a very sharp blade was used too close to the leather clasp as it has been all but sliced through at the area that is used for closing the purse. Basically, now rendering it useless. This is a high quality item and the carelessness is disheartening. I am left with a beautiful leather purse that has been ruined! The owner denied all responsibility.

After trying a few others in the vicinity when I moved into the community 2 years ago, I have been returning to this location consistently. I've had good service and quality. I've had none of the issues others have listed with rude staff. In fact the staff impress me when one young lady regularly recognizes me and is already pulling my items as I get to the counter. I've never had leather done here, but I have done cleaning and repairs and all have been quite well done. The hours make it quite accessible when working a typical day job.
Brought a Chesterfield hide leather cushion cover for removal of an oil stain. When I first found the stain I knew that this was no simple task to remedy and that I would need to seek advice from an expert. Abir dealt with me, she proved to be incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and personable. Given my experiences at Leather Master, I would recommend them.
Just don't let them lose your dry cleaning. They will send you on a wild goose chase of "Come in and I will find it" or "I know it is here and I will call you when I find it". I waited and waited for a phone call that never came. This went on for months as I described over and over again what my missing western style leather trench coat looked like. Then I made an agreement with the owner's wife that I would produce my bill and they would cover the cost of the coat. Then no more than 15 minutes later, the owner called - he told me point blank they will not take any responsibility, they do not call customers back ever for any reason and they do not have any liability for lost or damaged items. He even told me that they frequently give items to homeless people - this is after his wife said they never get rid of any items for any reason. It seemed they were willing to grab onto any lie that works to avoid taking responsibility. Now talking to BBB and my lawyer.
I have been trying to find a business that would and could clean leather chaps and buckskin. Over 1/2 dozen places have turned me down, including one of the leading leather cleaners in Western Canada located in Vancouver! I went to this store and Abir, the lady who runs the business, could not have been more helpful. My chaps look new! She said that the buskskin was too fragile to clean commercially, so she sold me a cleaning product made in Germany that she said would work. I tried it, and my jacket is like new! This lady is an expert and I will be back to see her again!
The people that work here are amazing at what they do. I came here specifically to get a oil stain out of my new expensive suede boots. I had called every shoe repair in the city and no one was able to help me. I came across style master/leather master and the woman was so friendly over the phone and told me to come in for her to take a look at the damage. She suggested some products to help make the oil stain less noticeable and taught me how to take care of my suede boots. She saved my boots and relieved me from tossing these boots away. I will be coming here for all my dry cleaning and leather cleaning needs from here on!!
I had brought in 2 leather jackets that were beat up from the winter and they did an amazing job in cleaning them. The lady was also very nice.
I have called the BBB on this company. Before purchasing a duvet I called Style Master for a price quote on dry cleaning it as well as Dolphin for cleaning costs. SM told me 40. which was 5.00 cheaper than Dolphin, to undercut the competition perhaps?. Took it in Monday promised for Friday she gave me a ticket. On Friday told it was still drying come back Monday, I went back Tuesday was told it just finished drying. Duvet was admired repeatedly for its quality. When paying the MC machine shows 85.95 I told her I was told 40 she gave me every excuse in the book and then told me she had to have her machine fixed in order to clean it - Dishonest about the delay time I was told drying time I confronted her that she pulled the price change with my ski jacket as well at the Elbow location. She needed to honour the price I was quoted on the phone. Abir was unwilling. Seems the more the product cost they feel the right to charge more. I was stuck having to pay as they had the duvet. My previous encounter with this dry cleaner was at their Elbow Drive location in the strip mall by Henry Wisewood, while getting snaps on a jacket to replace the velcro for a generic jacket was a lot cheaper than my name brand ski jacket, when I brought this to her attention she apologized and did a price correction, that was not the case this time so I have reported her to the BBB. This practice is unethical. If you have had trouble with this dry cleaner report them to the BBB. If you need dry-cleaning done I DO NOT recommend this cleaner.
