They are a marketing company. That's all. Other than pretty pictures, they're useless. That tourism levy you pay on hotel stays in Alberta? It's optional (they don't tell you that, though) and you can opt out, as it goes mostly to travel Alberta, one of the highest funded travel marketing companies in Canada.

1111 in Albertuh. Legit marketing of albertuh should include frames from the movie Deliverance. There should also be a public advisories to \beware of hungry hillbillies\ and not to \feed the hillbilly's OG culture\.
