This place holds a deep spot in my heart and childhood memories. My late uncle lived/worked on the resort for years. The pictures feel so nostalgic. Miss you B man.

Fall is beautiful around here. Fireplace and sharing with friends, what a good time we had

Awesome location. Staff is friendly. Cabins could use a bit of updating. Close to some great pickerel fishing (caught over 100 in several days of fishing) Marina needs some work. They charge 25 for a week's worth of firewood, but due to a fire ban could only have fires for 2 nights. No refund was offered for the unusable wood. Have been going there for over 30 years, and will likely continue. Food at the restaurant was great, limited menu but was willing to make changes to menu items. Food might be a little expensive, but was worth it for me.

Older cottages/cabins but still cozy. Good staff.

Friendly staff and great service. We visited the Waltonian to do some ice fishing and couldn't be happier. They placed us right on the fish. Our lines were tight each day. The shuttle service to and from our hut was extremely easy and efficient.

Good cabins for trip out on the lake. Ice fishing especially, you can take your snowmobile right out over the beach and onto the ice.

We arrived Thursday Jan. 16th 2020 at 2pm. Karen, the GM said it would be fine to come 2 hours early instead of 4pm. I have been speaking on the phone with Karen for a couple weeks prior tomake sure our trip was perfect. Karen is such a sweet soul and went over and beyond for us since we arrived. I have read previous reviews about the cabins having mold etc. This was not the case . Ours was a little dated but definitely a great homely feeling. Besides you are there to fish not sit in your cabin and judge all nooks and crannies. Great hospitality. The Leaf’s game was on and Karen made sure we were all set up to watch it in the main lodge. Very short walking distance from cabin. The fishing was ok but a bad storm came on with white-outs which kinda hurt us but remember the resort can’t control the weather. They do the best the can to bring you out and get you back from the huts. Any concerns or if you need to be picked up and brought back to your cabin for any reason just call Karen and she will arrange it. I will definitely be thinking about coming back next year just because of the GM. Very passionate and just plain out a cool person️
