Had extensive research before rental car in Lima as we planned 1 month self driving trip. Rented a SUV from Alamo for 1 month at airport, great service, professional staff, high quality car, renting and returning smoothly. The best rental company in Lima airport.
Charging money for damage that was already there. Saying you got a flat tire but you didn't and trying to charge you the money for a new one. Bad communication with their colleagues. After multiple visit's you will get your money back. Everything combined not even worth 1 star!! I highly recommend another company at the airport for car rental.
Very professional, friendly and helpful stuff (Estefanie in Lima and Yoselin in Arequipa). Cheap offer of an upgrade of the car and low cost for an extra driver when we arrived in Lima. Quick and uncomplicated pick up and returning. I can highly recommend this company!
Had a very bad experience. Rented a car in Piura and returned 1 week later in Lima. We had some issues during the rent. (boardcomputer of the car got stolen, but managed to get it back) I had no problem paying for resetting the computer. (since we didn't have insurance for that) When we arrived in Lima, they claimed we had a flat tire (wich we didn't have) because the tire was damaged. After 20 minutes they told us they would not charge the tire. After 3 days, they sent me a email with the costs for resetting the boardcomputer, a reverse camera(?) AND the tire.(600) I replied that I didn't agree on that, and they replied with a new "offer". Now they would charge 500, because they claimed that they found additional damage. (But I took pictures, and the damage was already there in Piura) After that I went to the desk in Lima to talk about it in person. Somebody there said we didn't have to pay anything, and that she would let us know within 1/2 hours, because the supervisor wasn't there. After 5 hours, still no message, so I called myself. They told me to call back on monday 9am since the supervisor would be there. So I called monday, and they told me that they would call me back within 5 minutes. (4 hours later, still nothing) I decided to go to the airport (again) to discuss this. Before I got to the airport, they called me, saying they would charge 200, wich is still too much. (I only had to pay for resetting the computer, wich was 90) At the airport they said their supervisor told them it will be 200, no less. After about 10 minutes, the supervisor decided to talk to us in person. Suddenly it was no problem anymore and we only had to pay for the boardcomputer. For me it looks like they just try to take as much money, hoping you are not comming back to their desk to talk about it face to face. They just hope tourist travel ahead and never come back. Never renting a car at Alamo again.

L entreprise n est plus présente depuis mars 2020. Pourtant ils continuent à faire des réservations. Un scandale !
