My favourite fine dining restaurant in the region. The food is always wonderful, the staff are amazing and the atmosphere is lovely. In the summer the outside patio is always a nice treat. From the minute you walk through the door until you leave you always feel like you are the only guest. During Covid we have been ordering takeout and every meal has been great and ready right on time. John and his staff are super!

I don't often do fine dining restaurants so it's not too hard to satisfy me but I have to say this place is great value for high quality food. Presentation is artistic, portion is just right, atmosphere calm/clean and taste spectacular. The dishes are not that pricy but quality is far superior to a standard restaurant chain like Montana's or Boston Pizza. Perhaps it is not fair to compare but it's just based on my own experience. Highly recommend.
Blackshop has blown me away again! My husband and I had decided in advance to order takeaway from Blackshop during the week and were really looking forward to it. We ordered online but unfortunately when the time came to go pick up the food, our car wouldn't start. I was so embarrassed, but I called Blackshop letting them know the situation and that I would not be able to come get the food and likely would need to cancel the order. This was not the case at all and Blackshop called me back within 2 minutes. They were beyond kind, empathetic and did everything they could to get the food delivered to me. Everything was sorted out within 10 minutes after my initial call and the food came incredibly quickly. Considering I live about 20-25 minutes away I was very surprised they made this happen, what absolutely amazing customer service. They included a super nice note and even sent along some desserts for us. After a stressful evening, this really made me feel so, so much better. I love Blackshop Restaurant and could not recommend this place enough!
I just delivered a Saturday dinner to friends for a treat. It was ready right on time. Pick up was smooth and organized. They said it was the best take out they'd had all year. Thanks Blackshop for making the evening work out so well.
I’ve been to this restaurant a couple of times and have enjoyed everything about it… The quality of the food is excellent and most of it is made on site with the local ingredients. The service is excellent and the vibe is stylish high-end but comfortable. Wine menu is fantastic as well. Be sure to sit outside if the weather permits.
