Over the last few years Bottisham Airfield Museum has been lovingly restored to a very high standard by a team of dedicated volunteers. This former RAF and USAAF airfield is well worth a vist to see the displays of WWII RAF, USAAF 8th Airforce and local Home Guard memorabilia.

Excellent display, with an obvious amount of hard work gone in to preserving a piece of Cambridge history. Well worth revisiting as the intention is to build on the hard work done so far.
Had a fascinating day at the museum's reopening today. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit, Gordon was a very informative and helpful guide, much appreciated. We will return...... especially as we can walk there!
Just got back having just visited Bottisham Airfield Museum Cambridgeshire....WOW.....congratulations to Jason and all the guys and gals there......what a transformation from the last time i visited last year......the exhibits are well documented and easy to see, a great place to research future projects, a fantastic visit to a unique WW2 Fighter Station......the coffee and cake was a nice surprise too.
Great museum and a lovely, friendly team of volunteers. Really interesting artefacts and a really impressive P51 Mustang cockpit restoration being undertaken in the workshop. Will definitely return.
