Today I went to buy grass seed (not in stock) and turf builder which had an instant rebate in their flyer , after the manager searched around the the rebate for 15min she told me since I do not have the coupon she couldn't offer me the discount ? I explained that it literally said INSTANT rebate... As a thirty year old who tries to support local and always tries to give HH the upper hand in customer service I'm officially done. You either don't have my stuff in stock or you blame the customer. Amazon and homdepot do not offer me the excuses they offer customer service and in-stock products HH will figure it out when its too late.

Had to pickup a couple sheets of drywall and some two by fours at this store it is very close by. The staff are ever so helpful and they loaded the drywall plus the lumber. Really impressed as the guys Evan checked the lumber for being straight and true. This is my favourite home hardware and love to stroll through it as their displays are the best. And today was 10 percent off for us good seniors, a real bonus.

Closed . No longer listed on Home Hardware website . Maybe will open up with a truly experienced new owner. With the right product mix, stocked flyer items , proper merchandising/layout and less mess. Some good employees lost their jobs.

I just heard that the home hardware in woodstock added an isle for non-perishable foods such as pasta so that they can be deemed essential. This is brilliant. Any chance you guys would be up for something like this?

Great service even in lockdown, called for an order, had it ready in 20 mins for pick up, went to home Depot, waited 2 days for confirmation of my order and nearly an hour in the car park waiting for them to bring my order out, I have nothing but great things to say about Cambridge home hardware

If you need assistance and want to talk to someone about your project, come here. Unlike the bigger hardware stores, Nykamps actually has staff that 1) are around to assist you, and 2) are knowledgeable to assist you. There are always willing to get online and look for stock at others stores and special orders. Very knowledge, friendly staff. Good place to come and shop instead of big chain box store.

I really wish this place was better because I really want to support local. Unfortunately in the last 20 or so times I've come here they never have what I'm looking for. Some items they haven't had in stock includes(before any pandemic shortage) 3" deck screws, plywood, any sort of insulation, tubes of caulk, standard home light switches, 5" sanding discs or any 120.grit sand paper. I understand stock shortages are going to happen once in a while but every time I've tried to buy 3 or more items here there has been at least one thing not in stock. If I always need to go to Lowe's to complete my shipping list I might as well just go there for all my shopping.
