Out of stock on an item I was looking for. Lady there went out of her way to help me out. Great job! Thanks for the good customer service.

As a regular customer I find myself very frustrated. Today I tried to return a defective motomaster OE Plus Battery and was informed that refunds are not provided and that per the warrantee the store can only offer me a exchange. I explained that is not helpful as I have a new working battery. The manager insisted that per their policy he can only exchange and give me a new one. I finally in frustration agree only to find out that they have none in stock. The parts manager then proceeds to tell me to go to another location to get the exchange I can simply come back next week ans they may have some in stock. I find this completely unacceptable since I felt like I was being dismissed and that my business was not important. I also strongly that the manufacturer should offer a refund option as they produced a defective battery that left me stranded on 4 different occasions where I had to get boosted. The battery was unable to keep its reserve charge. So I would travel to the grocery store less than 8 km away and 30 minutes later come back and the truck would not start. I think that its demonstrates a lack of accountability to customers from Canadian Tire and Motor Master. I am now out 200. How is that good customer service? It feels more like I have been taken advantage of by big business.

Nobody was there to help or wanted to assist. Customers walking without masks and nobody saying anything and a lot of products missing on the shelves
